DESCRIPTION: Reef Break Vista is an attractive 4 bedroom 3 bath home with a private pool. This newly refurnished home has a casual Caribbean feel to it, which will welcome you the minute your walk through the front door.

The home consists of 3 buildings, which are attached by connecting decks. The center building of the home is the main living area, which includes the open floor plan living, kitchen and dining area. Located to the left is the left cabana bedroom and attached bath. Off to the right of the main living area is your second cabana bedroom with attached bath. From the main level there is a staircase down to the pool and sun deck, and then a few more stairs down there is the lower sun deck and additional two bedrooms, which are connected by a Jack & Jill bathroom.

No matter where you are standing, you are sure to enjoy the tropical breezes and breathtaking views of azure blue seas and green hillsides. If you are an early riser, you can wake up to the beautiful sunrise as it appears over Ram's Head in the distant horizon.

If you are looking for a well priced home with an inviting tropical atmosphere, you have found it with Reef Break Vista. Perfect for families, couples and everyone looking for a casual Caribbean retreat.

Reef Break Vista is located on the edge of the National Park in Reef Bay. The road to Reef Bay ends about a quarter mile beyond your villa and with almost no vehicular traffic and great natural beauty, this villa setting is exceptionally peaceful, pristine, and beautiful.

The magnificent views include virgin subtropical rain forest on Bordeaux Mountain, the "Big Sur" like shoreline of the National Park and miles of blue Caribbean. Below you lay the usually deserted sands of Reef Bay Beach, St. John's most virgin National Park beach where sea turtles still lay their eggs and snorkeling, swimming and beach walks are private and inviting.

A one mile hike along the shore brings you to a second beach at the head of Reef Bay while other trails take you on more challenging hikes through the National Park to Lameshur Bay, Bordeaux Mountain or Rams Head.

It's a four mile drive to Cruz Bay, all of which is on what passes on St. John for a paved road, but Reef Bay is off the beaten path so few tourists ever explore this beautiful and relatively unknown area of St John.

LIVING & DINING: The great room includes the living and dining area, which opens onto the kitchen, which looks out to the expansive views of Reef Bay and beyond. The living room includes a couch and two chairs and a flat screen TV for streaming should you want to catch up on your favorite show. Large screened sliding glass doors and windows ensure a bright, well-ventilated interior, but should you prefer a/c, just close sliding glass doors and windows and relax in air-conditioned comfort.

For dining you have five options. In the main house, there is a table for 4. Outside, just off the living room there is a deck with a table for 4. Out back, by the entrance to the main house there is a table for 8 with bench seating, and to the right, between the main house and master bedroom cabana, there is a table for 8. Plus, for morning coffee, there is a bar height table for 2, located between the kitchen and right master bedroom. No matter where you choose to dine, you will enjoy the ever-present trade winds and beautiful views.

KITCHEN: We cannot imagine a more picturesque setting in which to prepare a meal. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas cooktop stove and wall oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and an assortment of cooking, server, and dinnerware. A gas BBQ grill and washer/dryer are located off the kitchen.

BEDROOMS: The two air-conditioned master bedrooms, each with a king bed and cathedral ceilings, are located on opposite ends of the home in private and romantic cabanas. Each includes and ensuite bath with outside garden shower. The two additional air-conditioned bedrooms are located on the lower level, one bedroom includes a king bed and the second includes two bunk beds, which works perfectly for a family traveling with younger children. The lower-level bedrooms share a bath with an interior tiled shower. All the bedrooms have screened sliding glass doors which open up to decks and gorgeous views of Reef Bay.

"We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Reef Break Vista. The house and view are outstanding and everything we needed for enjoying our time both at the house and on the beach was provided, including a shade tent, coolers, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a well appointed kitchen. The amazing breeze kept us cool throughout most of our stay, but having the option of AC on a couple particularly humid nights was much appreciated. Fantastic family memories were made, and we hope to return again one day.

"Our family enjoyed our stay at Reef Break Vista. Caribbean villas was so helpful and easy to work with. The villa was clean and well equipped with more than we expected. The pictures dont do it justice as the furniture has been updated. The only issue we had was the driveway. It is very steep and small. We ended up parking up the hill as our suv would drag bottom getting in and out of driveway. Highly recommend Caribbean Villas and Reef Break Vista.

"Hello to the great staff at Caribbean Villas, I want to thank you all for our vacation at Over the Rainbow. We found your business and communications to be first class. Our island greeteers Jim and Terry were very helpful and offered many suggestions on what to do on the island. Our Jeep was reliable and clean. The owners of the villa have done a super job of making the place friendly and comfortable. The plantings around the property and the pool were top notch. The Reef Bay view was spectacular. We slept in the Fish Bay room, the room was airy and comfortable. Never got tired of looking at all the animal life visiting the villa, the bananaquits and hummingbirds especially. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation.

"My girlfriend and I stayed in Over The Rainbow Dec. 30, 2012-Jan. 6, 2013, and we had the best time there. The villa was AWESOME, location was very private and quiet, and JimTerri (our greeters) were the best and very helpful. "We had a wonderful time at Over the Rainbow Nov 15-22. It was difficult to leave. This was our 3rd trip to St John, and also booking through your agency. Every one of our visits was extremely enjoyable and the relationship with Caribbean Villas has been consistently professional and amiable. We plan to be back and of course will be calling you once again. The thing I most like about CVRM is the way you present the villas on your web site. I can trust that we are going to rent a clean villa that is among the best that can be rented in the various price ranges offered. You rent quality properties and I can trust your candid guidance when choosing the villa. OTR was no exception. Hats off to the owners for the detail they provided in the documentation and equipping of their beautiful home. Dawn and I loved it the moment we walked in. I know this is a business, but you can tell they put love and effort in their home. Please pass my comments along to themespecially labeling the lighting switches and telephone. The interior and exterior lighting was very well done and provided a nice ambiance.
