Water + Sky is a charming 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath villa with private hot tub. This beautiful home was recently renovated and enjoys expansive views that look out over Coral Bay, the East End of St. John and beyond. The two level design offers comfort, functionality, and a stylish design.

The main level includes the great room, kitchen, living and dining area, all which look out through screened sliding glass doors to the covered porch and endless turquoise blue seas. To access the lower level, there is an interior staircase down to the two bedrooms. The air-conditioned bedrooms are accessed off a common hallway, and each includes a private en-suite bath with tiled shower.

Living And Dining: The great room at Water & Sky is an open floor plan and was designed to accent and maximize the picturesque harbor views of Coral Bay. In the evening, should you want to watch your favorite show, there is a Smart Flat Screen TV, ready for you to log into your streaming accounts and Apple TV is available with your login. The screened windows and sliders when opened provide wonderful cross ventilation to the ever present tropical breezes. Located off the living room, is a covered deck, with Adirondack chairs and a hammock. After a day of exploring, we are sure you will enjoy relaxing on your choice of decks or taking a nap in the hammock, all while letting the every day stresses melt away.

For your dining pleasure, you can enjoy a delicious meal at your interior dining table for 6 or if you prefer to be outside, a picnic table is located in the courtyard.

Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen is located just behind the interior dining area. Here you can easily make your morning cup of coffee, a midday snack and a delicious home cooked meal. Included in the kitchen is a 5 burner gas stove & oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster oven (you can cook 2 pizzas in it), and all important blender for preparing a morning smoothie or an evening beverage. A gas BBQ Weber grill is located in the courtyard and a washer/dryer are located on the lower level.

Bedroom Details: The two air-conditioned bedrooms are located on the lower level and are accessed via an interior staircase. Each look out to the beautiful views of Coral Bay. If you prefer sleeping to the sounds of the Caribbean, leave the windows open, and let the tropical breezes lull you to sleep, or if you prefer a/c, turn on the whisper quiet systems and sink into the relaxing coolness. And not to be forgotten, for those that like white noise, each bedroom includes a machine for your sleeping comfort.

This design is perfect for families traveling with younger children. The bedroom on the right includes two twin beds which can be converted to a king and the bedroom on the left has a king. Each bedroom includes a private en-suite bath with tiled shower and natural stone floor.

Water + Sky is located about 200 – 300 feet above sea level in Coral Bay. Its expansive views look out over the picturesque harbor of Coral Bay, Tortola and Drakes Passage. You are about a 25- 30 minute drive from Cruz Bay. The National Park beaches at Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay are a 10-15 minute drive. The north shore beaches (Maho, Frances, Trunk Bays) are easily accessible from the Centerline Road and are about a 15-20 minute drive away.

Just down the hill from Water + Sky, there is an interesting selection of restaurant, bars, shops and grocery stores, all within a 3 – 10 minute drive. Various local restaurants such as Skinny Legs, Aqua Bistro, Rhumblines, Salty Mongoose Pizza, and Miss Lucy’s offer a broad variety of food, from cheeseburgers to upscale dining and beverage options. We are sure your taste buds will enjoy!

CELL PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone service on St. John may be spotty with certain carriers. Additionally, North Shore locations may pick up cell towers on Tortola (The British Virgin Islands). If this occurs, expensive roaming charges could potentially be applied to your bill and/or you may be charged international rates. PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH YOUR PERSONAL CELL PHONE PLAN BEFORE TRAVELING TO THE ISLAND. This villa is equipped with Wilson Cellular Signal Booster Technology, which is positioned towards St. Thomas. The system serves to stabilize and strengthen incoming and outgoing cellular phone and Internet signals at the house, and, in most cases, your communications will be via cell towers on St. Thomas and not Tortola. St. Thomas antennas are AT&T dominated. Thus, cell phone users on St. John find AT&T the company of choice for coverage, efficiency, and, at times, to avoid roaming charges. You may wish to consider a pay-as-you-go AT&T phone for your vacation if you use another carrier. Again, know your cell phone plan. Lastly, for communicating with friends and relatives off island from the villa, always consider your computer’s video Skype mode via the house’s WiFi system. In most cases, this will be free.

LOCAL PHONE SERVICE: Local phone service is available at this villa through the island’s only telephone company. As with many services on St. John, it can occasionally be interrupted. We will do our best to remedy the situation should this happen. Again, you may wish to consider a pay-as-you-go AT&T cell phone, since we do not provide cell phones should local phone service be compromised.

INTERNET SERVICE:Internet on St. John has traditionally been poor and via the Island’s single telephone company using DSL connections. On a Clear Day … is proud to announce that our Internet service is now provided Love City Community Network (LCCN), a non-profit, high speed, fiberoptic initiative created from the ground up by St. John Islanders immediately post Hurricane Irma in order to supply the area with emergency communication. Should LCCN connectivity be lost, villa Internet fails over to a backup AT&T cellular connection. A suggested backup system for guests to be used on other parts of St. John and in St. Thomas is mobile cellular Internet MiFi via AT&T or Virgin Mobile.

We are sorry that there can be no refunds for Internet and/or telephone failure.

PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can sometimes take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.

POOL FLOATS: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.

Feb. 2024 – Water&Sky is a lovely property and we enjoyed our time there. The decor, living spaces, comfort and views from the decks are ideal. The hot tub at the end of the day was the icing on the cake of perfect days at the beach. Location to nearby restaurants and entertainment and groceries in Coral Bay, and it’s proximity to north, south and east shore beaches, is very convenient. Concerns and issues with the property were addressed and resolved promptly. Would love to return!

July 2023 – Great covered space with a wonderful view over Coral Bay and beyond. Very comfortable beds with AC in the bedrooms. Main living area has 3 sliding glass doors to let in the constant breeze. No mosquitos! Is this place perfect? Of course not. But it’s great! I’ve stayed all over STJ during the past 21 years… from scroungy plywood shacks to some of the most expensive properties on the island. Water & Sky is a charming villa with everything you need and an unbeatable deck with that awesome view. Now, let me tell you that the road leading up to the villa is only partially paved. It is totally safe. There are a few sections where you have to go slow to avoid bouncing too much. So what? You have to do the same thing when you drive to Great Lameshur Bay for snorkeling. So, if you see a review about the road being rough, take it with a grain of salt. I loved it, and got great service from employee Shamal when I had questions. Book it!!!

February 2023 -Loved Water + Sky! The road up here was quite the adventure but the view was worth it! The hot tub was a great bonus! Have fun!

January 2023 –What a splendid stay on St. John. This villa was perfect. The owners have taken great steps to anticipate what makes staying easy and stress free. Our favorite things: goats, the view, sea turtles, Skinny Legs and the sand at 13 beaches we visited! Great memories for our kids, beats being in school! 

Jan. 2023 – The property was lovely and clean. We felt the road was very difficult and thought you should have disclosed the challenge of getting up the mountain. Otherwise we were very pleased

Dec. 2022 –We loved our stay on St. John. Water and Sky has stunning views, beautiful sunrises and very clean. The hot tub was great at night, beaches are very close and nice restaurants within minutes of the house. We will definitely be back.

Sept. 2022 – The name of this villa, Water and Sky says it all. I could not imagine a home having a better view than Coral Bay’s Sunrise. I am a morning person and I could not have chosen a more perfect villa. The home is in tip top shape and I had a hard time leaving the because it was so amazing. I bonded very well with the hammock!
