Bedroom Details: The master bedroom with a/c, includes a queen bed, mahogany closet and opens to the harbor view. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, a/c, TV, mahogany closet and opens to a small private deck.
Distance To Town: It’s a short 5 minute walk to downtown Cruz Bay. It’s also an easy walk to the cabstands, where a 5-10 minute ride in an open air taxi takes you to St. John’s famous national park beaches.
Kitchen: The elegant kitchen has mahogany cabinets, marble countertops, electric glass top stove, refrigerator/freezer, oven, toaster, microwave, blender, and drip coffee maker. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare complete meals.
Living And Dining: The beautifully furnished air-conditioned living room, opens to the large private deck and includes a 37” cable TV , internet access, and well-appointed furnishings and accessories. A dining table for 4-6 on the spacious deck overlooks the harbor and there is a second table off the guest bedroom deck.
The Battery Hill Luxury Suites consist of eight 2-bedroom, 1 bath condominium units. Battery Hill is located on the top of the hill that runs along the south side of Cruz Bay Harbor with picturesque views that are not blocked by Grande Bay or other buildings. The scenic view includes Cruz Bay Harbor, Linde Point and Caneel Hill, with the Caribbean Sea, St. Thomas, Lovango and other islands visible in the distance. It’s a short walk (5 minutes) to the restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, groceries and nightlife in Cruz Bay. It’s also an easy walk to the cabstands, where a 5-10 minute ride in an open air taxi takes you to St. John’s famous national park beaches.
The eight condos share a BBQ grill, pool, sundeck, laundry facility, and there is on site parking.
Battery Hill was designed to maximize privacy so the units were built vertically and have no walls in common with another condo. Buildings A and B are both three stories tall with one unit on each level, and Building C is a 2-level building containing two units. All the units have exterior decks with Sea Breeze having an oversized deck.
INTERNET SERVICE: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.
PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can some times take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.
POOL FLOATS: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.

VEHICLE INFORMATION: A 4 Wheel Drive vehicle is needed for travel on St John
March, 2024 – We had a wonderful time staying at Sea Breeze at Battery Hill. The property is exactly as advertised. It’s a little bit older property but it is well-maintained and very comfortable. The A/C worked great and we were very comfortable sleeping each night. The beds are very comfortable. The coffee pot worked like a charm and we loved having our coffee on the huge balcony each morning watching the boats get ready to go out on charter for the day and the ferries coming in and going out. Parking here is beautiful. Much easier than trying to navigate the extremely narrow spaces at Grande Bay. I love that place too but the parking here is prime. There is a little bit of a walk to town but nothing most folks can’t handle. You can always drive to town and park at Slim Man’s as well. The only feedback I would provide is that the water pressure was really low. It was enough to take a decent shower, but it certainly could be stronger. I don’t know if there is a regulator issue or what. Well stocked and all the appliances worked great. Pool was very refreshing after a long day at the beach. Would definitely stay here again! Very easy management company to work with as well!

Feb. 2020 – We had a wonderful time at Battery Hill – Seabreeze villa. Loved the location, we walked downtown at night to go to dinner and also walked up a few times after drinks. The Villa was so perfect for two couples, the couple and us have already talked about would love to rent the same place again. We met one of the couples that live there and they made us feel at home. St John is our favorite Island and we hope we can plan to stay again soon…. Caribbean villa answered all our questions every time we were not sure about anything. We had a slight problem with the safe not opening and they took care of it the next day. We felt very safe and had a great Vacation. Thank You ..Joan
