DESCRIPTION: El Capricho (Cruz Views #02) is a beautifully updated one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in the upper right corner of Cruz Views, steps from the pool. It offers stunning vistas overlooking Cruz Bay and the surrounding islands and convenient parking right outside the unit.

Recent Updates:
- Full air conditioning (mini splits) now cools the entire condo, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round.
- A new washer and dryer are available for guest use, offering added convenience.
- The bathroom has been fully renovated to create a more luxurious, spacious, and zen-like retreat, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun.
- The living room has a pullout sofa which can comfortably sleep 1-2 extra guests.

Returning guests will love the new features and upgrades, and first-time visitors will be captivated by El Capricho's spacious wrap-around deck and inviting atmosphere. Relax on the new sectional couch on the front deck, where you can enjoy views of the pool and beyond. The new screened sliding glass doors lead you inside, where colorful and cozy decor welcomes you. The stylish new pullout sofa and chair provide comfortable seating, perfect for enjoying your favorite shows on the 43-inch flat-screen Smart TV.

The kitchen, conveniently located just behind the living area, has been updated with new cabinetry and countertops. It's equipped with a 4-burner glass cooktop, a combination toaster/convection oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, and blender-everything you need to prepare a meal. Dine at the table for two on the side deck or at the indoor dining table, which seats four.

Upstairs, the bedroom features a queen bed and air conditioning. You can sleep in cool comfort or open the screened window to let the Caribbean breezes and sounds of the tropics lull you to sleep. The fully renovated bathroom offers a more luxurious experience, with a spacious tiled shower and thoughtful design.

Whether you're a returning guest or a first-time visitor, El Capricho is the perfect home away from home. From this stunning condo, you can enjoy the blend of comfort, style, and the serene beauty of St. John.

LOCATION: Cruz Views is tucked into a tropical hillside 160 feet above the town of Cruz Bay. The units all face southwest to capture lots of sun and picturesque views of turquoise seas by day, memorable sunsets at day's end, and the twinkling lights of distant islands at night. It's an easy walk into Cruz Bay (downhill) but the walk back to Cruz Views is a bit more challenging, especially if you have enjoyed a few of the island's infamous rum punches.

For those renting a vehicle there is on site parking at the complex. Guests will enjoy the shared pool and if you like to BBQ, there is a gas grill available for guests to use during their stay. Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler are also included with each condo.

"We love Cruz Views #2. This was our third time to stay there. It has a gorgeous view of the water. We love having coffee on the balcony in the morning & watching sailboats, ferries, cruise ships, & hummingbirds. There is always something to enjoy. We have seen some beautiful sunsets from the balcony, too. The condo is close to the north shore beaches which we visited every day. Hopefully we can return to St. John & Cruz Views #2 next year.

"We have never stayed in Cruz Views but will certainly be doing it again! El Capricho (CV#2) met all of our needs and we felt right at home. Its clear that the owners dont want this to feel like an investment property as it truly felt like we were staying at a friends house. From the cozy furniture (comfy mattress which we LOVED!) to the decor, we felt right at home for our 8 day stay. The location was PERFECT-so close to town yet away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you to the owners for opening up your home-we had a fabulous stay which made our vacation all that much better on the best island in the Caribbean! We will be back!

"The entire experience with Caribbean Villas of St. John was wonderful from start to finish. The booking process was extremely easy and the booking staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. We were given frequent email communication throughout the months leading up to our trip. We were given contact information for our arrival as well as if we needed anything during our stay. The villa was exceptional and there was more than we would ever need! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and look forward to booking again next year!

"We stayed 3 weeks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Communications with the property managers was excellent. The unit was spotless. Kitchen was well stocked. View was fantastic. As an end unit, it was nice to have room to spread out on the deck as the interior was a bit cramped. We suggest that the heavy furniture be swapped out for smaller furniture. Also suggest repositioning the tv to make viewing easier. Mattress has a memory foam topper which made it very comfortable. The AC unit was a bit noisy. We slept with the fan on and AC off. Overall a very nice stay. Well be back.
