One Particular Harbor is a unique 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath villa with a private pool. This beautiful home was carved out of a steep mountainside and was designed to maximize the breathtaking views that look out over Coral Bay and beyond.
This 3-level home is bordered by colorful tropical flowers and lush vegetation which only emphasizes the privacy and serenity that surrounds this peaceful setting. From the parking area you ascend tiled stairs to the top floor, which houses the kitchen, living and dining areas as well as a half bath. Screened sliding glass doors from the living room open on to a large, covered wraparound deck where you are sure to enjoy dining outside, all while gazing out to the gorgeous views. Imagine yourself sitting here with your morning cup of coffee, or if you are lucky enough to be here during a full moon, you will be speechless the first time you see the moonlight reflecting on the ocean below.
There are interior and exterior stairs which take you to the two middle level bedrooms. The air-conditioned bedrooms are similar in size, include private en-suite bathrooms and open on to their private deck. The third air-conditioned bedroom and private deck are on the lower (driveway) level. Every room at this home has a spectacular view, and every bed looks out to the islands floating below you.
The pool and the pool deck are located to the right of the villa and can be easily accessed by all three levels of the home. Tucked into the hillside, you will enjoy the ultra-private setting and lovely views every time you relax and lounge by the pool.

To get to One Particular Harbour you drive from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay (Coral Bay – Western hillside), and then make a steep climb (about 900 feet) almost to the top of the mountain ridge that towers over Coral Bay Harbor. Once you reach your villa you will immediately turn to the east, utter the word “wow“, and then gaze for a few minutes at the beauty that lies before you. The views are spellbinding and they sweep from the northern hills surrounding Coral Bay, over Coral Bay Harbour, Hurricane Hole and the East End of St. John to Tortola, Norman, Peter, Salt, Cooper, Ginger, Virgin Gorda, and the other fabled islands of the British Virgin Islands.
Coral Bay, on the eastern side of St. John, is St. Johns “other“ community. It is a colorful, very laid back and friendly, small town. The name Coral Bay also refers to the neighborhood that surrounds the waters of St. Johns largest bay (Coral Bay).
From One Particular Harbour, the dazzling National Park beaches at Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay are a 15-minute drive, and it is a very scenic 25-30 minute drive over Bordeaux Mountain into Cruz Bay. For groceries, restaurants and bars in the Coral Bay area, it is a 5-10 minute drive on mostly paved roads.

March 2024 – “One Particular Harbor was an amazing property. The views are spectacular and there is plenty of space. The kitchen was very well stocked, as well as the items needed for enjoyable beach days (beach chairs, coolers, noodles…). Very clean. I will say the driving on St. John’s is challenging, and it takes a bit to get used to. Driving on the left side of the road and very steep hills with sharp turns. Overall, it was an amazing vacation and I look forward to returning to the island one day. Thank you.”
Feb. 18, 2023 – My brother’s family from Tahoe had never been to the Caribbean, they LOVED St John! Villa was perfect except for spotty WiFi, I didn’t care about that. Utility work on Rt 108 blocked access for a couple hours one day, work appears to be done. Villa very well stocked with beach chairs, etc.
12/1/22 – Hello! Just wanted to say a BIG thank you! One Particular Harbor is dreamy. We can barely believe the views are real. Hope you have a great day & thanks a bunch!
July 2022 – Wonderful vacation. Very nice villa with spectacular views. few minor water issues that were quickly rectified by very responsive management. It a bit of a task to get to (extraordinary climb) so don’t recommend for senior drivers. But when you get there its an amazing view. Great breeze to keep you cool even in July when we went. Definitely recommend use a Rav 4 not a jeep they handle better up the climb and narrow road. Keep in 1st and 2nd gear going up.
-The property is everything it claims and more! Beach chairs, towels, every kitchen gadget and more. The views are spectacular at any time of the day… the only drawback was the drive up to the house and the final mail biting experience of going strait up the driveway. Luckily my husband is an experienced driver and up to the challenge (as long as it was not raining!). Highly recommend 4 wheel drive for this stay and not the minivan we named Bessie! At this time of year be flexible for meals out or call for reservations weeks in advance for places in Cruz Bay or eat local down the hill and not worry about town! We will definitely be back!!!
