Cruz Views #09 – Romantic Moment – Cruz Bay (hillside)

Cruz Views #09 is a center condo located in the lower building, to the left of the pool deck. This charming condo has beautiful views looking out over the Cruz Bay Harbor.  You will want to be out on your private deck in the early evening to catch the vibrant sunsets as the sun dips down in to the horizon.  There is nothing like seeing a Caribbean sunset.

Romantic Moment’s great room consists of the living, kitchen and dining areas.  The living room includes a pullout sofa with a memory foam mattress,  which comfortably sleeps 1-2 extra guests.  As you relax in your living room you can watch your favorite sports team or TV drama on your flat screen TV.   For those wanting to stay connected the condo also includes WiFi for your use.  To enjoy the sights and sounds of the Caribbean, you can open your screened, sliding glass door and step out on to your private deck. You will enjoy looking out over Cruz Bay and watching the boats glide by.

The kitchen is located just behind the living room and includes a refrigerator/freezer, an 4-burner electric range, a microwave, a blender, a toaster and a drip coffee maker.  For dining, there is an interior table which seats 2-3 and there is a table for 2 on your private deck, perfect for sharing a ‘romantic moment’ together.

The bedroom is located up a few stairs from the great room and includes a king bed, split level a/c unit and an en-suite bathroom with newly tiled shower.  (The split level a/c unit keeps the entire condo cool.)

Cruz Views is tucked into a tropical hillside 160 feet above the town of Cruz Bay. The units all face southwest to capture lots of sun and picturesque views of turquoise seas by day, memorable sunsets at days end, and the twinkling lights of distant islands at night. It’s an easy walk into Cruz Bay (downhill) but the walk back to Cruz Views is a bit more challenging, especially if you have enjoyed a few of the island’s infamous rum punches.

NOTE: The Cruz Views Complex has a resident outdoor cat that visits the property.

INTERNET SERVICE: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.

PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can sometimes take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.

POOL FLOATS: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.

Apr. 2023 – Such a great property! So glad we chose Cruz Views. Easy parking, nice clean and warm pool! Very attentive staff when we had an internet issue. We will be staying here again!

Feb. 16, 2023 – Good location, good facility

– This was our first visit to St. John. I spent several weeks researching where to stay on the island and I am so glad we chose Cruz Views! The location met all our needs and the “views” really are amazing. We really liked our unit, the nice bathroom, the king bed was very comfortable, and having cable TV and internet is a nice extra. We loved being close to Cruz Bay for day ime shopping and evening dining. The location of  Cruz Views provided the quiet, peaceful early mornings and late evenings that we wanted on our vacation.   We walked into Cruz Bay every day/evening and would taxi back. Even if you are in shape, the “hill” up to the Villa is not fun!! We did not rent a jeep but were able to visit different beaches every day because taking the taxi was hassle free and not too expensive. I loved Cruz Views Villas and will probably stay again on our next St. John vacation.

-This comfy villa is well equipped, breezy, user friendly, peaceful, and like home, sweet home! The Cruz Views Villas were more welcoming than even anticipated. The management was responsive and helped me to get settled in. Very cooperative and supportive as I was traveling with others who were staying in a residence near by. Clean, beautiful, inspiring views await :)!

-We loved our 6 night stay. Clean and cozy just right for a couple. The view and sunsets from the deck are beautiful. Short drive into Cruz bay. It is close enough to walk but road is narrow, dark and very very steep so we drove. King bed was nice but a little firmer than we are used to. Would be nice if there was salt and pepper available. Otherwise the kitchen cookware and dishes were well stocked. We also used the communal grill and pool- both were great. We would definitely stay here again!
