Cruz Views #07 – Happy Hour is beautifully appointed oversized corner condo with a split level a/c unit and another a/c unit in the bedroom, to stay nice and cool. This unit is located to the right and below the pool level.
Happy Hour was completely renovated in 2018. When you first walk through the door, you will feel welcomed by its inviting and comfortable atmosphere. There are plenty of places to relax to enjoy the amazing harbor views and fiery sunsets. From the living room the screened sliders open to the oversize deck, which includes cushioned chairs, a love seat and for those wanting to sun in private, you can ‘catch some rays’ in the lounge chairs, all while gazing out at the spectacular views overlooking Cruz Bay.
The great room includes your living, kitchen and dining areas. The living room has a pullout sofa with a memory foam mattress, which can comfortably sleep 1-2 extra guests. The flat screen cable TV is available for you to watch your favorite sports team or favorite TV drama, and for those wanting to stay connected there is Wifi available.
The well equipped kitchen is located behind the living room and includes new cabinetry, new countertops, an electric 4 burner glass cooktop stove, counter top convection oven, microwave, blender and drip coffee maker, as well as all utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The dining area comfortable seats 4 people.
The bedroom is located up a few stairs from the living room and includes a new queen bed and down the hall is your private bath with stone and tiled shower.

Distance To Town: 1/2 mile outside of Cruz Bay, heading up the Centerline Road. 5 minute walk downhill into town.
Cruz Views is tucked into a tropical hillside 160 feet above the town of Cruz Bay. The units all face southwest to capture lots of sun and picturesque views of turquoise seas by day, memorable sunsets at days end, and the twinkling lights of distant islands at night. It’s an easy walk into Cruz Bay (downhill) but the walk back to Cruz Views is a bit more challenging, especially if you have enjoyed a few of the island’s infamous rum punches.
NOTE: The Cruz Views Complex has a resident outdoor cat that visits the property.

Phone Service/Cell Phones: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can some times take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.
Internet Service: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.
Pool Floats: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.

March 2024 – ” The private balcony was amazing! We used it morning and evening and especially enjoyed watching the iguanas in the trees below. We appreciated that beach chairs, a cooler, ice packs, and beach towels were provided for us. The property was beautifully landscaped and very quiet. We loved retreating there after our activities each day. I was glad that the location was convenient to town and groceries but off-the-beaten-path enough that there wasn’t much car traffic. The gas grill was a nice feature, and even our little oven worked great in spite of its small size.”
Feb. 2024 – This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands and were blown away by the views from the apartment overlooking Cruz Bay. The sunsets were spectacular. The apartment was well equipped with all our needs addressed. We would advise a rental car if not for the short walk into town but to give easier access to all the incredible beaches.

Although the apartment is on the hillside overlooking the town, it is close enough to walk into town. We would recommend renting a car as it makes getting around the island easier, particularly to access the wonderful beaches. Although we walked to town and back several times, the final hill required some effort.
The Caribbean villa team was very helpful and took any worry out of the trip.
In summary, a great apartment in a great location, and would stay there again.

– Jan. 16, 2023 – The location was very convenient for us, especially since we had a car, near all of the major roads. The view is fantastic, and the pool area is very nice. The condo is well equipped (dishes, utensils, beach chairs, ice chest, tv & wi-fi). The management staff was responsive. Be aware that the sun (in winter) is very strong on the patio area; we used the patio in the early morning and evening, but it was too hot for the afternoon (when we used the pool area). Also, the A/C unit was broken. Staff brought a bedroom unit and fan, but the situation was less than desirable, especially with the hot sun shining into the living/dining area. ** Jan. 31, 2023 – the A/C’s in the condo have been replaced
-We had to change our vacation plans to St.John last minute. The property was perfect and the management was responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed every day. We did have an issue with the AC which was fixed within hours even later in the evening.
-The pool was a huge plus! The view is cool and it’s very close to town but it is VERY HILLY! The kitchen is well equipped but the “oven” is a toaster oven and is a little hard to use. The bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable.
