CliffHouse – Peter Bay

The CliffHouse is a stunning 4 bedroom 4 1/2 bath estate with a private pool.  Being one of the first homes built in this exclusive development, it has front row seats to the turquoise blue waters and ever present sounds of the Caribbean ocean. The expansive design offers everything a guest could want when looking for luxury; elegant, yet comfortable furnishings, breathtaking views, central a/c, walking distance to Peter Bay beach, and a north shore, National Park location.  Can you really ask for anything more?

When you enter the home, you will be drawn to the views, but when you look around, you will know you picked the perfect home to enjoy your vacation.  The great room is one large room, with a dining area, living area and well equipped kitchen.  Surrounding the great room are french doors which open to the always present tropical breezes, or if you prefer, keep the doors closed and enjoy relaxing in air-conditioned comfort.  Just off the interior living room, is your outdoor covered lanai.  We think you will spend most of your time here, as you are certain to relax into the tropical furnishings, while you enjoy every moment together, creating those memories that will bring you back to this home, year after year.

Your pool and sun deck are located just a few stairs down from the lanai, here you will enjoy soaking up the sun and going for a refreshing dip in your private pool.  Or, in the evenings, there is additional seating on the sun deck to cozy up together, to enjoy your favorite tropical drink after a day of exploring.

The 4 air-conditioned bedrooms are beautifully decorated. Each bedroom includes an en-suite bath with tiled shower and views looking out to Peter Bay and beyond.

And not to be forgotten, for those that like to exercise, the home includes a well equipped gym. However, some of the best exercise can be had, just by going for a swim or snorkel in the clear blue waters below the Cliff House.

Living And Dining: The great room and outdoor lanai are the centerpiece of this elegant home. As soon as you enter, your eyes will be drawn to the breathtaking north shore views. From the dining area, to the living room to the kitchen, you are sure to feel welcomed the minute you arrive. The interior dining table comfortably seats 6-8. The living room is to the left of the dining area, and there is plenty of seating for you to watch your favorite sports game, or TV drama. Or why not get a card game going? No matter what you decide to do, we are sure there will be plenty of conversation and laughs for everyone. Our favorite ‘feature’ of this beautiful home is the outdoor covered lanai. There isn’t a better spot to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at your outside dining table for 6. Or, if you feel like some quiet time, you will not be able to resist, curling up on one of the couches or wicker chairs, to read your favorite novel. No matter where you choose to relax and unwind, whether indoors our outdoors, we know you will enjoy spending time at your home away from home.

Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen is located a few steps up from your dining area. Your kitchen includes stainless steel appliances including a gas stove & oven, refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and the important blender for making your morning smoothie or afternoon frozen beverage.

Bedroom Details: The four air-conditioned bedrooms are all beautifully appointed. The master bedroom is located to the left of the main house, in its own private building. The bedroom includes a king bed, TV and private en-suite bath with tiled shower. The highlight of this bedroom are the screened French doors that surround the bedroom on three sides. No matter what way you look, you will be in awe of the amazing water views. The three additional guest bedrooms are located to the right of the main house. The two guest bedrooms on the main level are outside access and across from each other. One bedroom has two double beds and the second bedroom has a king bed. Each have cathedral ceilings, TV’s, beautiful ocean views and private en-suite bathrooms. The 4th guest bedroom is located on the lower level, and though it does not have a cathedral ceiling, the bedroom is quite cozy and has a king bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with tiled shower and water views.

CliffHouse is located on the North Shore in lower Peter Bay.  Peter Bay is one of the few parcels of pristine north shore land that was not deeded over to the National Park, and today it remains private, peaceful, and exceptionally picturesque, surrounded by the forests, waters and reefs of the National Park. The Peter Bay homes all have deeded access to the private beach at Peter Bay, which is located between the National Park beaches at Trunk and Cinnamon Bays.

The CliffHouse is one of the first homes built in lower Peter Bay, and is 100 feet above the beautiful turquoise water and ever present sounds of the ocean.  It is a 3-5 minute walk down to the beautiful white sand beach and the calm 82 degree waters of Peter Bay beach.  On a perfect beach day the National park beaches will host hundreds of people, but it’s rare to see even a handful of people on Peter Bay (it’s privately owned). The gorgeous views from CliffHouse look north and east and include the lush mountains of Tortola and St. John, including Cinnamon, Maho and Francis Bays, and Whistling Cay, and Great Thatch. It’s a 10-15 minute, incredibly picturesque drive to the excellent restaurants, shops and groceries in the charming town of Cruz Bay.

CONSTRUCTION: As is true in any popular destination, construction of a new home continues in Peter Bay Estates. If you would like further details on the current status of this building activity, please inquire and we’ll be happy to obtain the latest information for you.

INTERNET SERVICE: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.

PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can sometimes take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.

POOL FLOATS: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.
