Aqua Gem is a charming 2 bedroom 2 ½ bath home with a private pool. The main level of Aqua Gem includes the living, kitchen and dining areas along with a ½ bath. The great room is surrounded by French doors, with invisible screens, which open on to a wrap- around deck and includes beautiful views overlooking Great Cruz Bay Harbor. There is a spiral staircase which takes you down to the lower bedroom level, where there are two bedrooms, each with a king bed, a/c and en-suite bath with tiled shower. Both bedrooms have screened sliders which open on to the private 700 square foot pool deck and 20 x 12 foot pool.

This two level design with its interior access bedrooms is a perfect layout for families traveling with children, couples looking for similar size bedrooms, or honeymooners, looking to start their new life together. You can walk between the two homes and if rented together, can easily accommodate a party of 8.

Bedroom Details: The 2 lower-level bedrooms each have an efficient split level air-conditioning system to keep you cool as you sleep, or if you prefer you can open your sliding glass doors and fall asleep to the sounds of the Caribbean and allow the ceiling fans and gentle trade winds lull you to sleep. Both master bedrooms are equally sized with king beds, tiled floors, a chest of drawers, lamp and end tables and a fully tiled bath and shower. Imagine sleeping late and rolling out of bed and into your pool, located a few feet from both bedrooms and accessed through screened sliding glass doors.

Distance To Town: Aqua Gem is less than a 5 minute drive to the restaurants, beach bars, groceries and shopping in the delightful town of Cruz Bay. It is also less than a 5 minute walk to the restaurant, spa, beach and taxi stand at the Westin Resort.

Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with a 4 burner gas stove and oven on an island bar/counter, a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, blender, and a gas grill on the deck

Living & Dining: Three sets of fully screened French doors open onto the upper deck that wraps around the south and west sides of the living areas. The fully tiled interior great room is cooled by ceiling fans and tropical ocean breezes. The living room is furnished with a comfortable couch and chair, plus beautiful Caribbean artwork and accessories. A 32in. flat screen cable TV, a stereo and wireless internet are included.

You may dine inside or on the upper deck at the wicker and glass table seating 4 or on the pool deck at the table seating 4.

Aqua Gem faces south-southwest and enjoys all day sun on its pool area and perfect for those seeking to acquire a golden tan. The picturesque view also includes the islands of Little and Great St James and the south end of St. Thomas, plus the sparkling waters of Great Cruz Bay and the Caribbean, as well as views of fiery sunsets and distant island lights at night. This is a very convenient location that is less than a five minute drive to the restaurants, beach bars, grocery stores and shopping in the delightful town of Cruz Bay.

INTERNET SERVICE: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.

PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can some times take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.

POOL FLOATS: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.

March, 2024 – We enjoyed our week at Aqua Gem in St. John. Aqua Gem was pretty. We loved the 2nd floor balcony, the pool, the view of the pool from the bedrooms. It was nice with the fresh air flowing through the windows and upstairs sliding doors. We slept comfortable and had things we needed throughout our stay.

Feb 21, 2023 – Aqua Gem was perfect for our girls trip. The kitchen is well stocked with all cooking utensils needed. The beds were very comfy, and the bedrooms were right off the pool deck. Parking is a bit tight, but our four door Jeep was able to fit and turn around ok. Overall this villa is adorable and we would definitely rent it again!

-Perfect location. A lot of places on the island share a pool. Not this place. All yours. Super clean and spacious. I’d definitely stay here again.

– We stayed at the Aqua Gem last week…it was Great!!!   Kind of a silly question, but the bath towels were so fluffy and absorbant I would love to purchase some.  Can you give me any information on the towels so I can order some?
