Wedding Locations

St. John offers some of the most beautiful locations for getting married.  If you envision a beach wedding, a church wedding or getting married in a private villa, St John offers it all.  Your wedding consultant or officiant will be able to recommend which location will work best for you to celebrate the wedding of your dreams.

 BEACH WEDDINGS:

Hawksnest Bay:  Hawksnest is a perfect location for an early morning wedding between 8 – 9 am.  You will have more privacy and cooler temperatures, plus this is an excellent time for capturing the turquoise blue and green colors of the ocean for amazing photographs!

Trunk Bay:  Trunk Bay is a wonderful location for a wedding to take place at sunset.  At this time, later in the day you will capture the warm, gold and red tones of a fiery sunset.

Hawksnest and Trunk Bays are two of the most popular beaches that couples are married on but there are other beautiful beaches on St John.   A couple of other suggestions are Cinnamon, Francis and Maho Bays.

CHURCH WEDDINGS:

Lutheran, Catholic and Episcopal (Anglican) churches are located in St John and offer lovely settings for a church wedding in the Caribbean.  All three churches are located in Cruz Bay.

 NAZARETH LUTHERAN CHURCH:   340 776-6731

OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL CATHOLIC CHURH MISSION:   340 776-6339

 ST. URSULA’S ANGLICAN (Episcopal) CHURCH:   340 693-8580

 WEDDINGS AT A PRIVATE VILLA:

Choose from several of our private villas on St. John for an exclusive wedding ceremony and reception.  Villas must be rented for one week.  An additional site fee will be applied to the villa rental.   Because every wedding villa is so unique please contact us directly to make your villa reservation.  A list of our villas that allow wedding can be found under Recommended Homes in this wedding section.

SUGAR MILL RUINS:

The Annaberg Sugar Plantation Ruins, located in the National Park offers amazing views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel.  The Plantation is the ruins of a 19th century sugar mill and the remains of the stone buildings offer many picturesque sites for your wedding photographs.
