One Love is a beautiful 3 bedroom 3 ½ bath home with a private pool. This light and airy home consists of 3 levels and was designed to maximize the gorgeous views looking out over Rendezvous Bay.
You enter the home on the middle level and follow the courtyard to the main house which includes the kitchen, living and dining areas as well as a half bath and laundry room. Surrounding the main house on three side are screened sliding glass doors and windows, all positioned to maximize the views and let in the light, creating a bright, cheerful, and welcoming living space. You will never need to worry about too much solar heat, as these rooms are cooled by an efficient a/c system or for those that prefer the fresh Caribbean air, open your sliding glass doors to the gently blowing trade winds.
To the left of the main house is one master bedroom, while an exterior staircase takes you to the 2nd master bedroom located on the upper level. The third guest bedroom, pool and pool deck are located on the lower level and can be accessed by two sets of stairs located on either side of the main house or by a gated path from the driveway. Every bedroom includes a/c, an en-suite private bath and private balcony which looks out to the lovely views of the turquoise Caribbean waters below you.
The L- shaped pool has an 8 x 8- foot sitting area with bench seats that are just right for half-in, half-out pool lounging with friends and a tall, cold beverage. One Love is beautifully landscaped, and the colorful flowers and lush vegetation create a very tropical setting.
We have been welcoming honeymooners, couples and families traveling with older children, to this beautiful home since 2010 and we know you will feel just as welcome the minute you arrive at One Love.

Living & Dining: A beamed, vaulted ceiling and terra cotta tiled floors give the living area a traditional Caribbean feel. The centerpiece of the living room is the view, as seen through a wall of glass. The view is supplemented by a Sony 40’ flat screen TV with a Sony speaker system, stereo, CD player and wireless internet. The living room is surrounded on three sides by balconies and decks.
A mahogany table for six is the centerpiece of the dining room while just outside the dining room in the courtyard there is a round table that seats six.
Kitchen: The cabinets are custom built of mahogany and cypress and the countertops are Brazilian granite. There is a 4-burner gas stove and oven, a built-in microwave, refrigerator/freezer, double sinks, dishwasher, toaster, blender and drip coffee maker. Also included is a complete assortment of cooking utensils, kitchen implements, linens and pretty china and glassware. A washer/dryer and a half bath are located beside the kitchen. Outside the kitchen door and down 4 steps, is the barbeque grill and patio.
Bedroom Details: All the bedrooms have a/c, romantic water views, a private balcony and a tiled bath with a mahogany and cypress vanity and Brazilian granite countertops.
The roomy lower level bedroom/bath (270 sq/ft) has two queen beds. It opens to the pool deck and is accessed by two sets of stairs and a private gated entry path off the second level. The second level bedroom/bath, also 270 sq/ft, has a king bed and is accessed from the courtyard between the living areas and this bedroom.
The third level bedroom/bath (king bed) is the largest bedroom at 350 sq/ft and is 12 stairs up from the second level courtyard, and has a side balcony that is smaller in size but has a lovely view.
One Love is located on the south facing hill behind and overlooking Rendezvous Bay. It’s the last house on a dead end road, so it’s a private and quiet setting with some clothing optional privacy. Your view stretches from east to south. On your left you see Ditliff Point and Klein Bay, on your right is Bovocoap Point and Hart Bay, directly below you are the turquoise and blue waters of Rendezvous Bay, and off in the distance is the island of St Croix.
The house is bathed in sun from early morning to late in the afternoon, but its exposure to the trade winds and the air-conditioning in every room that keeps it very comfortable, regardless of the season and the sun.
Cruz Bay is a 10 minute drive on paved roads (except the last 1/8 mile) on the way to/from Cruz Bay.
CELL PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone service on St. John may be spotty with certain carriers. Additionally, North Shore locations may pick up cell towers on Tortola (The British Virgin Islands). If this occurs, expensive roaming charges could potentially be applied to your bill and/or you may be charged international rates. PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH YOUR PERSONAL CELL PHONE PLAN BEFORE TRAVELING TO THE ISLAND. This villa is equipped with Wilson Cellular Signal Booster Technology, which is positioned towards St. Thomas. The system serves to stabilize and strengthen incoming and outgoing cellular phone and Internet signals at the house, and, in most cases, your communications will be via cell towers on St. Thomas and not Tortola. St. Thomas antennas are AT&T dominated. Thus, cell phone users on St. John find AT&T the company of choice for coverage, efficiency, and, at times, to avoid roaming charges. You may wish to consider a pay-as-you-go AT&T phone for your vacation if you use another carrier. Again, know your cell phone plan. Lastly, for communicating with friends and relatives off island from the villa, always consider your computer’s video Skype mode via the house’s WiFi system. In most cases, this will be free.
LOCAL PHONE SERVICE: Local phone service is available at this villa through the island’s only telephone company. As with many services on St. John, it can occasionally be interrupted. We will do our best to remedy the situation should this happen. Again, you may wish to consider a pay-as-you-go AT&T cell phone, since we do not provide cell phones should local phone service be compromised.
INTERNET SERVICE: Internet on St. John has traditionally been poor and via the Island’s single telephone company using DSL connections. On a Clear Day … is proud to announce that our Internet service is now provided Love City Community Network (LCCN), a non-profit, high speed, fiberoptic initiative created from the ground up by St. John Islanders immediately post Hurricane Irma in order to supply the area with emergency communication. Should LCCN connectivity be lost, villa Internet fails over to a backup AT&T cellular connection. A suggested backup system for guests to be used on other parts of St. John and in St. Thomas is mobile cellular Internet MiFi via AT&T or Virgin Mobile.
We are sorry that there can be no refunds for Internet and/or telephone failure.
INTERNET SERVICE: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.
PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can sometimes take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.
POOL FLOATS: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.
