LOCATION. Seven Peaks is a very private waterfront villa that is located on the west side of the beautiful, U-shaped harbor called Cane Garden Bay, on the north shore of Tortola. Cane Garden Bay has a large palm tree lined, white sand beach and a delightful collection of authentic tropical beach bars and restaurants. This is a popular anchorage and the picturesque harbor is often filled with cruising sailboats and their sun tanned crews.
Seven Peaks sits about 50 feet above the sea in a beautiful setting where the sound of surf gently breaking below your windows and the sight of vibrant blue and turquoise seas creates a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing environment. The marvelous views extend for about 200 degrees and include lush green mountains to the east and turquoise seas and tropical islands to the north and west.
It's a 5-minute walk to a barefoot-in-the-surf stroll along the beautiful white sands of Cane Garden Bay. Road Town is a very scenic 10-15 minute drive over the mountain and the airport and Soper's Hole are both 15-25 minute drives, depending on how exciting you dare to make the drive.

DESIGN. This is a very handsome and unique villa that was cleverly designed to make the best use of its waterfront setting. Seven Peaks is so named because it has seven peaked roofs and as many pavilions (buildings) that stretch along the shoreline and are connected by tiled decks and covered walkways. The first pavilion is 2 stories tall with a garage on the ground level and two guest bedrooms on the upper level. A courtyard leads into the kitchen which is attached to the dining gallery. The gallery connects to the great room (living area) and beyond the great room is the secluded pool and its 2-level, coral stone tiled sun deck that offers some clothing optional privacy. Past the pool on the far end of Seven Peaks are the master bedroom and its very attractive tiled bath.

BEDROOMS. On the east end of Seven Peaks the two guest bedrooms (queen bed and two twins) are accessed by a curved staircase. Both bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and are screened and air-conditioned. These two adjacent bedrooms share a balcony and a tiled bath and shower. The very private and air-conditioned master bedroom suite (king bed) is on the west end of the villa, beside the pool but well removed from the guest bedrooms. The master bedroom has a walk-in shower, desk area and its own romantic covered balcony with table and chairs for 2.

KITCHEN / DINING / LIVING. The gourmet kitchen is built to be both attractive and functional. With its tiled floor, cathedral ceiling, corian countertops, cherry and mahogany cabinets, and wall-to-wall ocean views, this qualifies a good-looking kitchen. Its 5-burner Miele gas range and oven, SubZero refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, etc, also qualify this as a very functional room.
A screened glass door leads from the kitchen into the covered alfresco dining room. With its mahogany table, arched and open windows, tiled floor, cathedral ceiling, soft breezes and ocean sounds, this is a lovely place to linger over a good meal or after dinner drinks. You may also dine outside on the pool deck at a table for four.

Another screened glass door leads from the dining area into the columned bi-level living area that is furnished with a cushioned wicker sofa and easy chair, and yacht quality teak and mahogany shelving and cabinetry. The living room includes a Sony 37-inch TV with satellite service and DVD player, a Bose Sound System with Bose 6-CD player plus movie and music channels, an answering machine, and a dedicated phone line for your laptop. A charming covered balcony with a table for two is off the living area overlooking the turquoise waters of Cane Garden Bay. A gas barbecue grill is on the pool deck.

CARIBBEAN VILLAS' VIEW. Seven Peaks was completed in 2002 and its design and location certainly qualify it as one of Tortola's more fascinating new villas. Lots of windows and light combine with soft pastel colors and blue gingerbread trim to create a very cheerful, clean and pretty tropical home. The str-e-etched out design of Seven Peaks also results in a great amount of privacy between the master bedroom, the guest bedrooms and the other rooms. With no other homes nearby, Seven Peaks also offers very good overall privacy.
There is a reef just below Seven Peaks which generates the restful melody of gently breaking surf. This music fills every room and creates a wonderfully soothing and relaxing environment. This is the sound that you so often dream of waking to; it's the sound of vacation. In addition to a superb audio show, the reef at Seven Peaks also provides a great visual show because it's a gathering spot for the little fish (fry) that Pelicans love to eat. All day long the pelican's constantly entertain as they swoop and soar and dive for fish in the waters just below your villa. These big birds look kind of awkward and funny, but when they tuck and dive, they're all speed and style.
Seven Peaks is a 5-minute walk to one of Tortola's most gorgeous beaches and one of the island's best locations for beach bars. We recommend a quiet dinner at a beachside restaurant and then a barefoot walk along the beach under a starry night sky.
Great swimming and snorkeling, boat rentals, some groceries and cabs are available at Cane Garden Bay. This is one of Tortola's preferred beaches and all the Cane Garden homes (Fawlty Towers and Arundel) are quite popular.
Seven Peaks is a home that reinforces our need to rediscover the magic and the wonders of sea, stars and sky. This is a great house for naturalists who realize that you can vacation in comfort and luxury and still be at one with the beauties of nature. This is also an excellent villa choice for couples and a family with in-laws or a nanny.

RENTAL NOTES:
- The housekeeper can do your personal laundry on the days she comes to do your maid service for an additional cost of $10 per load
- Seven Peaks is a no smoking house
- Sound travels quite well across the water. This is a law of physics that you will probably observe on nights when the reggae bands are jamming at Cane Garden's nightspots. Most guests enjoy the local music, if you don't; you've got your own Bose system.
