The Stone House is an enchanting and spacious 2-3 bedroom, 2 bath house that is surrounded by a sea of colorful tropical flowers and is located a short distance from the warm, inviting waters of Great Cruz Bay Harbor. This villa is an excellent example of classic Caribbean architecture with hand cut native stone walls, terra cotta tiled floors throughout, cathedral ceilings with ceiling fans and screened skylights, lush bountiful interior gardens, and numerous decks and patios with beautiful views. Great Cruz Bay is a quiet, private, well established neighborhood of expensive vacation homes where swimming and snorkeling are available at the white sand beach at the head of the bay. |

LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN. The spacious living and dining rooms are comfortably furnished with rattan furniture, including a couch, loveseat and 3 club chairs. Electric roll down shutter doors open to reveal beautiful views of sailboats at anchor highlighted by flaming sunsets and the twinkling lights of St Thomas. A glass topped wicker dining table seats 6-8, while a breakfast table seating 4-6 is set among the profuse foliage of the interior gardens. The entertainment package includes a cable color tv/vcr and a stereo with cassette and cd player. |

BEDROOMS. The master and guest bedrooms both offer furnished
private decks and excellent privacy for two couples.The master (king
bed) has electric roll down shutters with screens that that open to
romantic harbor views. A tiled garden shower with a screened skylight
adjoins the master. The guest bedroom (2 trundle beds) also has screened
doors with lovely harbor views and an adjoining bath with a tiled garden
shower and skylight. A library/study with a queen bed adjoins the master
bedroom and provides an additional bedroom for children or a third couple. |

MANAGEMENT COMMENTS. The Stone House is a unique classic stone beauty that offers lovely sunsets and picturesque harbor views, an easy walk to swimming and snorkeling and roomy comfort. It sits on a 1 acre lot among luxuriant gardens in one of St John's preferred neighborhoods and will accommodate 4-6 persons in a classic style of Caribbean comfort. This is a good choice for parents with kids who may desire the activities of the nearby Westin (formerly the Hyatt). The Stone House offers a lot of traditional Caribbean charm and is recommended for 1 - 2 couples or families. |
