LOCATION. Stillwaters is located on a private and quiet hillside lot in Chocolate Hole with scenic south - southwest facing views of Hart Bay and Chocolate Hole Harbor.

This location is an easy 5-minute drive on paved roads to the restaurants, groceries and nightlife of Cruz Bay, yet this site is private enough to allow discreet tan all over sunbathing.

DESIGN. Still Waters is a 3 bedroom/2 bath home that first became available for vacation rentals in March of 2000. All the rooms except the loft bedroom are on one level, with the bedrooms separated by the living areas and kitchen. Mature, well maintained and colorful tropical landscaping surrounds the house.

LIVING/DINING. The bright and sunny living and dining rooms contain tiled floors, cathedral ceilings and comfortable furnishings. Open the screened sliding glass doors and allow the refreshing tradewinds to enter, or close the doors and enjoy the comfort of central air conditioning. The living area contains a cable color TV/VCR plus a stereo/cassette/CD player.

You may dine inside at the teak table that seats 6-8, or on the deck at the table seating 6.

KITCHEN. The sparkling clean, centrally located kitchen is definitely gourmet quality with a 6 burner gas Thermador stove/grill, a stainless steel Thermador convection oven, tiled counters with a granite inlay, dishwasher, icemaker and Calaphone cookware. A gas BBQ grill, telephones and a washer/dryer are included.

BEDROOMS. The attractively furnished master bedrooms each have a king bed, a/c, tiles floors, teak furniture and a cable color TV/DVD. The east master opens to the pool deck and has a tiled bath with a spa. The west master opens to the sundeck and also has a tiled bath. The loft bedroom has two separate areas, one has a queen bed and the other has a single bed.

Caribbean Villa's View. This villa is the larger, more luxurious, 3-bedroom version of a cute little home we offered that was also called Still Waters. The smaller (1 bedroom) Still Waters no longer rents, but the new Still Waters more than fills the void. Although there is much to like about this house, the features that set this villa apart from other villas are its central air conditioning and its gourmet kitchen. The walls of south and east facing windows insure a cheerful interior with unobstructed views, yet the central a/c keeps the entire house cool and comfortable, even on the warmest of summer days. The tranquil and private location, roomy floor plan, handsome furnishings and convenient location also contribute to the appeal of this fine villa. The direct line of view from the kitchen and living areas to the pool, plus the safety railings, makes this an excellent home for families with kids, but this is also a romantic villa that will appeal to honeymooners and couples.
