LOCATION. Sea Spirit is a totally unique hideaway that sits on an oceanfront cliff surrounded by National Park in a spectacular location in Coral Bay. This is certainly one of the most private, quiet and unspoiled settings of any rental villa on St. John. The beautiful views stretch for miles and there is neither house nor human to be seen anywhere, except occasionally a sailboat silently glides by offshore. Sea Spirit is secluded but not remote, for there are 5 restaurants, two small grocery stores, a gas staion and two National Park beaches within a 5-15 minute drive. Or, if you wish to go into Cruz Bay, it's an additional 25-30 minute drive along the beautiful North Shore of St. John.

DESIGN. Sea Spirit is essentially a 3-room design, with the living, dining and kitchen areas in one room. The master bedroom and bath are located off the living areas and the loft bedroom is above the living area. A deck wraps around the house on 3 sides and provides a great place to dine or to listen to the undisturbed silence and take in the view.

The hot tub is located cliffside between the house and the gazebo and is a superb spot for romantic stargazing. The cliffside gazebo is also a wonderful place to enjoy your favorite novel, so bring plenty to read.

LIVING/DINING. The house itself is clean, cozy and comfortable. The living room includes an upholstered sofa and chairs, tiled floors, color TV, DVD and a stereo/cassette/CD.

There is dining for 4 on the interior table or on the deck.

KITCHEN. The kitchen contains a 4-burner stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster and cookware and dinnerware for 4-6. A gas barbecue grill, washer/dryer, telephone, beach chairs, beach towels and all linens are included.

BEDROOMS. The air-conditioned master bedroom (queen bed) is off the living room and includes a tiled bathroom.

CARIBBEAN VILLAS' COMMENTS. If you've got a bit of romance and adventure in you and you long for an uncommon getaway in a beautiful National Park setting, or if you're a naturalist looking for that ultimate location where you can be completely at one with nature, we've got your number. Sea Spirit became available for vacation rentals in the fall of 2001 and because of the unusual nature of this villa we quickly added it to our listings. This location really sets Sea Spirit apart, both literally and figuratively.

Although Sea Spirit is ultra private, it is still close to some of St. John's favorite attractions and also close to some of the island's lesser known jewels. For example, a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive takes you to snorkeling and swimming at the secluded, rarely inhabited pebble beaches at Groot Cove or Kittle Cove. A 5-minute drive takes you to the smooth white sands, turquoise waters and fine snorkeling at the National Park Beach at Salt Pond.
A 5-minute drive also gets you to Miss Lucy's, a not-to-be-missed restaurant on the water in Coral Bay. When you combine Sea Spirit's pristine setting with the romantic charm of St. John, you have a unique rental villa with great appeal to honeymooners, lovers, artists, writers, dreamers and naturalists. Sea Spirit is also suitable for small families.

PHONE SERVICE/CELL PHONES: Local phone service is interrupted regularly and in spite of our efforts to reinstate service it can some times take weeks. AT&T is the only cell service we find operates efficiently on the island. If you do not have AT&T we strongly suggest you bring a pay as you go AT&T cell phone with you as we do not provide cell phones should the local phone service be interrupted.

Internet Service: The internet service is subject to frequent interruption. We cannot guarantee internet quality or speed. Renters might find it convenient to travel with a cellular carrier MiFi – a couple of examples are AT&T and Virgin Mobile. There will be no refunds due to the internet not working.

Pool Floats: Pool floats are not guaranteed with your villa rental. If you want access to them, please bring them with you.
