LOCATION. Limin’ Time is located in Great Cruz Bay, which is an upscale waterfront neighborhood consisting of moderate to ultra luxury villas, including Limin Times’ neighbors Gull Cottage and Splash. The view from Limin’ Time sweeps from west to north, with pieces of St.Thomas and sunsets skies to the west, and sailboats floating on the turquoise waters of Great Cruz Bay to the north.
Although Limin’ Time is located one lot back from the shoreline at Great Cruz Bay, a private palm lined right of way leads down to the Caribbean Sea and a small spot from which you can swim, snorkel or kayak in the always tranquil waters of Great Cruz Bay. Or, you can walk (10 minutes) to the white sand beach at the Westin Resort.
It's a short drive (5 – 10 minutes) on paved roads to the restaurants and boutiques of Cruz Bay. It’s also a quick drive to the three restaurants, beach, fitness facilities and shops at the Westin Resort.

DESIGN. Limin’ Time is a colorful 2-story, 2-bedroom design. You park on the 2nd level and enter the villa on the upper level, which houses the kitchen/living/dining areas plus the master bedroom and bath. A wall of opening windows overlooks Great Cruz Bay and combines with the windows on both ends of the house to insure a well ventilated and well lit living area. Two sets of exterior stairs lead down to the guest bedroom and bath on the lower level. The pool and its lovely coral stone sun deck and the tropical gardens are a few steps from the lower bedroom and occupy most of the lower area.

LIVING/DINING. This living area is a good example of tropical comfort, style and entertainment. Travertine marble floors, a cathedral ceiling, central air conditioning, and Tommy Bahama furniture and ceiling fans provide the comfort and style. The entertainment is provided by a 42 inch flat screen cable TV/DVD, a stereo/CD, Wifi access, a scanner/copy machine and fax, and the soft breezes and harbor views from everywhere in the living area.

KITCHEN. Five features make this a handsome kitchen – marble floors, granite countertops, a granite bar that seats 3, mahogany cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Besides being attractive, this kitchen is quite functional with a 4-burner gas stove with range hood, a built in oven and microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, double sink, coffee maker, toaster, blender and all the cookware and dinnerware for enjoying great meals. This is a villa where the chef is regarded as a VIP, and to insure that he/she doesn’t miss a minute of the game/movie/presidential address, the chef has his/her own 40 inch flat screen TV mounted on the kitchen wall. A gas barbecue grill is just off the kitchen and the washer/dryer is on the lower level.

BEDROOMS. The master bedroom is on the upper level and has a queen size, 4-poster Tommy Bahama bed set with custom linens, a/c, a tiled bath and shower, and an AM/FM radio alarm with an iPod dock. The master bedroom expands into the living area to create a very large suite.
The guest bedroom is on the pool level and has a queen size bed plus a matching sofa bed, 2 chairs and an ottoman in the attached suite. This bedroom is also air conditioned and has its own 40 inch flat screen TV plus a tiled bath and shower.

CARIBBEAN VILLAS' COMMENTS. Limin’ Time is a Caribbean word that means to slow down, chill out and relax. Limin’ Time is a good name for this house, as well as for so many other villas that we offer on the ultra relaxing, laid back island of St John.
The owners of Limin’ Time have a stellar 10 year track record of creating “best of class” rental homes and condos on St. John. Their list of winners includes Rhapsody, Cruz Views #7, the most elegant unit at Battery Hill, and their most recent addition - Limin’ Time.
When Limin’ Time was purchased three years ago, it was a run of the mill, rather uninspiring residence. For two years it was completely remodeled – top to bottom - and a commonly plain home became the uncommonly handsome villa that you see here. Limin’ Time has not previously been a rental villa, and we are beginning to offer it for vacation rentals in January of 2010.

Limin’ Times best features include the following:

Scenic harbor views of sailboats floating on turquoise waters, and colorful skies at sunset;
A 20 foot pool surrounded by a beautiful coral stone deck and bordered by tropical palms, bananas, lime trees and the fire cracker blossoms that humming birds love. The pool deck is exposed to the sun from mid morning to late afternoon, so this is a villa for sun tanners and pool people;
Lots of island elegance and comfort with central a/c, travertine marble floors, Tommy Bahama furniture and fans, and a handsome mahogany and granite kitchen;
Three flat screen cable TVs, a 40” in the guest bedroom and the dining/kitchen area, plus a 42” TV/DVD in the living room that can also be viewed from the master bedroom;
WiFi access, stereo/CD, an iPod docking station, plus a scanner/copy machine and fax;
Two a/c bedrooms with queen beds, with one on each level:
A very convenient location in a very upscale neighborhood, including water access in front of the villa, or walking access to the beach at the Westin Resort at the head of the harbor;

The affordability of Limin’ Time plus its rich, romantic décor makes this a good choice for honeymooners and lovers, and a small family would also love this villa.

Last year I was lucky enough to be one of the first to stay at Limin' Time. After coming to the island for 20 yrs. this has been one of the best places I've stayed. I have always wondered how a new house will present itself after a year of wear & tear... I'm amazed.. it is exactly the same, if not better!!
We had a fabulous 9 days at Limin' Time. The kitchen has everything for fixing meals. The pool was a nice way to cool off after being at the beaches during the day. This was our 15th trip to the island and we will be back!
