The interior of Periwinkle has been furnished in a very charming tropical motif, with white wicker furniture accented by terra cotta tiled floors, cathedral ceilings with ceiling fans, blue floral upholstery, white walls and soft pastel pink trim. Five sets of screened sliding glass doors open to insure a constant flow of cooling tradewinds, or close the doors and relax in the comfort of central air conditioning. The sunset and evening views enjoyed while relaxing in the jacuzzi are memories that will be treasured long after you leave this very special island.



LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN. The white wicker living room furniture creates a casual summer-like atmosphere and includes a couch, two chairs, cocktail table and end tables. Throughout the living and dining areas tasteful rugs, lamps, Caribbean artwork and other accessories enhance the feeling of relaxed tropical living. The first class entertainment system includes a cable color TV/VCR and a stereo with cassette and CD.

The dining room with its own rattan glass topped table and rattan chairs affords a picturesque water view and is the perfect spot for romantic candlelight dinners or casual meals.

Periwinkle contains a modern, well equipped kitchen that is perfect for preparing anything from light snacks to gourmet dinners. It includes a 4 burner electric stove, GE refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, serverware, utensils and dinnerware and place settings for 8. Also included are a washer/dryer, telephone, Webber BBQ grill and iron and ironing board.

The second bedroom is a loft (two twins) that is accessed by stairs and is perfect for children.

MANAGEMENT COMMENTS. There are very few 1-2 bedroom rental homes on St. John and at this price we know of none that are as charming and comfortable as Periwinkle. You can walk to a white sand beach, tennis courts or restaurants, yet you're located in a private and quiet, picturesque setting that is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. For these reasons and also due to Periwinkle's affordable price, its cheerful decor and its cozy, romantic jacuzzi and master bedroom, Periwinkle is a very popular rental villa. As many honeymooners will happily attest, this villa offers a type of romantic privacy that you just can't find in a hotel setting. It's also ideal for small families. In sum, dollar for dollar you won't beat the value offered by this well maintained villa.
