| If you're an experienced boater, Ocean
Runner is your ticket to one of the most exciting and enjoyable days
of your vacation. Cruising aboard your own boat among the crystal clear
waters and treasured islands of the Virgin Islands is really as good as
it gets. Swim, snorkel, fish, or explore our beautiful beaches and hidden
harbors, and you'll soon discover why this is one of the world's finest
saltwater playgrounds. Ocean Runner rents powerboats by the day or half day from their base at Cruz Bay. The boats you see rafted together to the right of the ferry dock when you enter Cruz Bay are the Ocean Runner boats. All boats are 2000-2001 Mako's with positive floatation, deep V hulls and a design that has proven to be perfect for cruising the waters of the Virgin Islands. The boats range in size from 22 - 28 feet and are powered by well maintained and reliable Johnson outboards (see chart).
CARIBBEAN VILLAS VIEW. If you're an experienced boater, don't miss the chance to spend a day exploring the truly beautiful islands of the Virgins. The navigation is mostly line of sight and quite easy (no fog here), the seas are usually small to moderate and the weather is quite often "a perfect summer day." We've heard it so often from our guests that we can almost guarantee it; this will be one of the finest days you've spent on the water. Delbert Parsons owns Ocean Runner and he runs a good business with well maintained and very seaworthy boats, competitive prices, a friendly smile and a courteous staff. Delbert treats all his clients well, but he's especially good to our guests, so be sure to tell him you're a Caribbean Villas' guest. Despite near perfect weather, things happen at sea. Be assured, Delbert and his crew look laid-back, but they're very competent and experienced sailors and can quickly and professionally handle any problem that arises. BOAT RESERVATIONS. We recommend that you reserve from Ocean Runner 3 - 4 days in advance if you're renting from December 25 to June 1, otherwise 1 - 2 days in advance should be sufficient. We recommend that you get some sun exposure (a base tan) before going out on the water, and bring sunscreen, drinks, towels and snorkle gear. Call Ocean Runner at 340 693-8809.
