DESIGN. Long View is a spacious and very appealing 2 bedroom villa. You park in the 3 car parking area below the house and ascend stairs to the lower level where you find the pool and sundeck, the lower bedroom/bath, the laundry room and a wrap around covered deck. Exterior stairs from the pool deck lead up to the second level with the living/dining/kitchen areas, a half bath, the master bedroom/bath and the screened in porch. Another covered deck wraps around the east and south sides of the upper level. The entire house and its lovely sundeck and pool are surrounded by beautiful, abundant and especially well maintained tropical landscaping.

LIVING/DINING/PORCH. The living room has vaulted ceilings, tiled floors and views to the east, south and west. There is wireless internet (DSL) that works well at the pool or on the decks or porch. The Bose Wave Stereo/CD has an i Pod connection and can be played in the living room or at the pool. A half bath is located off the great room.
There is a dining table for four in the great room, a table for six on the pool deck and bar chairs at the kitchen bar/counter.
The screened in porch is furnished with a futon sofa bed and has scenic views of Chocolate Hole in the foreground and St. Thomas in the distance.

KITCHEN. The tiled kitchen is both attractive and well-equipped and includes a four-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven and blender. There is plenty of cookware and dinnerware, and a telephone. A washer/dryer and a gas barbeque grill are located on the lower level.

BEDROOMS. The master bedroom (king bed) is on the upper level and has a cathedral ceiling and a private balcony that overlooks Hart Bay. The lower level bedroom opens to the pool deck and has 2 twin trundle beds which can be converted to a king and also provides extra beds for children. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and tiled baths.

CARIBBEAN VILLAS' VIEW. We were thrilled to add this excellent 2-bedroom villa to our portfolio in the spring of 2008. These owners spend a lot of time on St. John - mostly maintaining and improving their home - and even though Long View was built in 2004, the owner’s TLC gives it the look and feel of a new villa. Along with its desirable location and amenities, the extra care that Long View receives makes it a very appealing villa. Its best features include;
- Wireless DSL that provides coverage at the pool, or on porch and covered decks, plus a Bose stereo/CD + i Pod dock that can be played in the great room or at the pool,
- Like Anole, this is one of only a few villas with a screened in porch. The porch faces west and is great for sunsets and evening relaxation.
- For those who love to lie in the sun, the large (and private) sundeck gets sun from early morning to sunset. It’s surrounded by gorgeous tropical landscaping and is centered on an 18 foot pool.
- For those who like to be outside but not in the sun, you’ve got wrap around covered decks with deck furniture on both levels.
- Pick your view – east, south or west – sunrise or sunset, they’re all quite scenic and enjoyable.
- The great room has opening windows on all four sides, which provides lots of light and cooling breezes, while both bedrooms are cooled by powerful a/c units,
- This is a convenient and easy to get to location, but it’s also private, quiet and restful, with background music provided by the surf breaking on Hart Bay.
