These are St John's premiere condos, located on a beautifully landscaped five acre peninsula a short distance from the town of Cruz Bay. These very attractive and comfortable units are easily distinguished from other St John condo resorts in three ways. First, Gallow's classic Caribbean architecture is both beautiful and unique. Second, Gallows is right on the water with its own small pebble beach that provides a convenient spot to swim, snorkel or sun on the deck, and third, Gallow's has Ellingtons, an on site restaurant and bar, which lately has been getting some very good reviews.

LAYOUT AND DESIGN. Gallows consists of 60 condos in 15 handsome Caribbean styled buildings located along the shores of Gallows Peninsula. You may choose a Harbor View unit with a view of Cruz Bay Harbor, or an Ocean View unit with a southwest facing view looking out over the Caribbean to St Thomas.
The Loft units are the upper (top floor) units with 1000 square feet, cathedral ceilings and a loft bedroom with an extra half bath. The Garden units are all ground floor units with 750 square feet and 1 bedroom and 1 bath.

THE SUITES. All units are very tastefully furnished in a classic Caribbean motif with terra cotta tiled floors, Cyprus cathedral ceilings (loft units only), mahogany trim, rattan or wicker furniture, TV/VCR and a stereo/cassette/CD, private decks or patios, ceiling fans, tiled bath and shower and a telephone. Each unit contains a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, and coffeemaker.
Every bedroom contains a king bed and a second TV/VCR, a large closet and a chest of drawers, endtables and lamps. Daily maid service is included.
THE SCOOP ON GALLOWS POINT. All the condos at Gallows Point are individually owned and as the pricing shows, not all units are created equal. We prefer the quieter ocean view units with their beautiful views of the Caribbean and their spectacular sunsets. We also prefer loft units over garden units because you get more space, cathedral ceilings, an extra half bath and less noise (no one is above you). Because there are 60 units with different views and locations and interior furnishings, unless you're a repeat guest, we recommend that you let our condo experts help you select your unit.
 
Another unique feature about Gallows is that there are two owner's organizations that rent units and both have similar sounding names, which can make things a bit confusing. Here's the rub, although both companies offer some excellent units, only one company, Suite St John, will guarantee you the unit of your choice. Suite is a "boutique" operation at Gallows that offers only 10 of the most preferred, superbly maintained, oceanview and loft units. We generally work with Suite St John to insure that our guests, who tend to be particular, can choose from the best and can get the exact unit they want.
The Gallows Point units offer popular and comfortable accommodations for couples and guests who desire to be within an easy walk to the restaurants, shops and night life of the delightful and lively West Indian village of Cruz Bay. If the kids don't mind sleeping on a pullout sofa bed this is also a good choice for small families, although no kids under 5 are allowed.
NOTE: If you love the architectural style and design of Gallows Point but need something larger or desire a more private location, the villas Seawatch, Palm, Coconuts and Ixora were designed by the same renown architect who designed Gallows Point and they capture the same classic Caribbean essence, yet in a totally different setting.
