DESIGN. Fun and Contentment was completed in 2008. The design of this house puts all the living areas, plus the pool, hot tub and decks on one level. You park on the same level and enter into the great room, which contains the kitchen, dining and living areas. On either side of the great room is an oversized bedroom which like the great room, opens to a deck. The large deck is tiled and wraps around the east and south sides of the house. At this elevation (360 feet), the views from all the rooms and especially the deck, are very impressive.

The living room is furnished with comfortable furniture for four and is equipped with a 31 inch flat screen cable TV//DVD and a surround sound stereo/CD system with an i Pod dock. There is also a desk with a computer monitor, and an all in one printer, fax and scanner. Glass doors provide picturesque views from anywhere in the room and ceiling fans, the trade winds and the powerful bedroom a/c units keep the interior cool.

For dining you have a choice of two options. Inside a table in the round seats 4 in the dining area of the great room, while outside your dining table seats 6 and provides wonderful down island views. There’s a s/s 4-burner gas grill on the deck, a few steps from your dining table.

The kitchen is both handsome and well-equipped with mahogany cabinets, tiled countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a four-burner electric cook top stove and oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There is plenty of cookware and dinnerware, and a telephone. A washer and dryer are located below the kitchen.

BEDROOMS. The two large (300 sq/ft), air-conditioned master bedrooms are equally sized and are mirror images of each other. They both have handsome mahogany bedroom sets by Lane, including a 4-poster king bed, nightstands and a chest of drawers. Both have a flat screen TV/DVD, and a portable i Home stereo, which is a small clock radio that runs off house current or lithium batteries, and has an i Pod dock. Both tiled bedrooms have a tiled bath and shower, plus glass doors that open to the deck and to cooling trade winds and harbor views.
