DESIGN. This is a very attractive, one level villa built of native stone and concrete. The beautiful stone walls of the house are accented by 10 sets of hand rubbed and screened double mahogany doors that open to delightful views and cooling breezes. As you enter the great room of the villa, the master bedroom is on the left and the guest bedroom is on the right of the living area. Inside, tiled floors, beamed cathedral ceilings, abundant mahogany, ceiling fans and fine furnishings create a rich and traditional tropical décor. Outside, a large covered deck runs along the entire south side of the house and provides a spacious area for dining and relaxing, while the pool and private sundeck on the sunny southwest side of the house are great for grilling, cooling off and getting a full body tan.
Living / Dining / Kitchen. The living room is tastefully furnished with wicker and mahogany furniture and Caribbean art work. A British armoire contains a cable TV, VCR and DVD, plus a stereo system with a CD player. Three sets of screened mahogany doors open to the covered deck and views of sea, sky and mountains. The primary dining table seats 6-8 on the covered deck, while on the pool deck there is a gas grill and a table for 4. The NEFF custom kitchen is fully equipped with a granite sink, 4-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, and complete cookware and dinnerware. Bella Villa includes a washer/dryer, telephone, beach chairs and all linens and towels.
Bedrooms. The master bedroom is both alluring and romantic with a king 4-poster bed and abundant closet space. The master bedroom has six sets of screened mahogany doors that open to great views and gentle breezes, plus a tiled bath and shower. The second bedroom (queen bed) overlooks the pool deck and has a tiled bath with a garden shower that is bordered by stone walls. There is also a pull out sofa bed in the living room.
Caribbean Villa's View. La Bella Villa was built in 2001, it is in like-new condition because it was lightly used from 2001 - 2004 and was not offered for vacation rentals until October of 2004. Overall, this is an easy home to recommend; it's attractive, well built and nicely furnished and appointed. The traditional island design and quality interior décor combine to create a refined and romantic ambiance, and the hillside location provides charming views of the Caribbean plus clothing optional privacy. La Bella Villa is also priced competitively, and makes a great home for a honeymoon, or for 1-2 couples or for a small family with older children (this villa is not recommended for children under 5). La Bella Villa is a no smoking house, please.
